On the Business Trip to the Republic of Belarus June 23–28, 2025

From June 24 to 27, 2025, the 10th International Scientific and Technical Conference “Polymer Composites and Tribology – 2025” (“Poliсomtrib-2025”) was held at the Institute of Mechanics of Metal-Polymer Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The main objective of the conference was to discuss fundamental and applied issues in the field of materials science of polymer composites, coatings, films, and modern tribology.

The conference program included approximately 200 presentations (including 5 plenary lectures) from 15 countries (Belarus, Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, China, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Syria, and others).

From June 23 to 28, 2025, the Director of the State Institution “Fan va Taraqqiyot” Mr. Abed N.S., Deputy Director Mr. Kamalov T.O., and Chief Scientific Researcher Mr. Ismoilov R.I. were on an official business trip to the Republic of Belarus.

Purpose of the trip:
Participation in the international scientific-practical conference “Polymer Composites and Tribology – 2025” organized by the V.A. Bely Institute of Mechanics of Metal-Polymer Systems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (IMMP NASB, Gomel), and the signing of cooperation agreements with this institute and the Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU, Minsk).

Trip details:

June 23–25, 2025 – Stay in Gomel:
Representatives of the “Fan va Taraqqiyot” institution participated in the conference organized by the IMMP NASB. Within the framework of the conference, a presentation was delivered on behalf of the institution, highlighting the main directions of its scientific and practical activities.
Negotiations were also held with the institute’s leadership, resulting in the signing of a bilateral cooperation agreement in the fields of science, technology, and joint projects.

June 26–28, 2025 – Stay in Minsk:
During the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed with the Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU). The parties discussed prospects for collaboration in applied scientific research, professional development of specialists, and joint educational programs.

Outcomes of the business trip:

  • Two cooperation agreements were signed:
    • with the V.A. Bely Institute of Mechanics of Metal-Polymer Systems of the NAS of Belarus (Gomel),
    • with the Belarusian State Technological University (Minsk);
  • Direct contacts were established with the leadership and specialists of the mentioned institutions;
  • A presentation was delivered at the international conference;
  • Agreements were reached on involving Belarusian specialists in events organized by the “Fan va Taraqqiyot” institution.


The business trip was productive, and all planned objectives were successfully achieved. The signed agreements lay a solid foundation for long-term cooperation with leading Belarusian scientific institutions in both scientific and practical domains.
