On December 2, 2025, the Director of the State Institution “Fan va Taraqqiyot” (Science and Progress), Abed N. S., and Deputy Director Bozorboyev Sh. A. paid a visit to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

During the visit, negotiations were held with Petr Vityaz, Head of the Aerospace Activities Department of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and Tatyana Prannik, Head of the Main Directorate for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The discussions focused on opportunities for further development of cooperation between the organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the State Institution “Science and Progress”.

Within the framework of the visit to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, on December 2, 2025, the delegation of the State Institution “Fan va Taraqqiyot”, headed by Director Nodira Abed, visited the University of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

During the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed, providing for the expansion of internship programs for scientists and academic staff from scientific institutions and higher education institutions of Uzbekistan in the scientific organizations of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

On December 3, 2025, the delegation visited the Institute of Chemistry of New Materials of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, as well as the State Research and Production Association “Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Materials Science.”

During the visit, working meetings were held with the management and leading specialists of the organizations. The parties discussed current development priorities in the field of new materials, exchanged experience, and presented promising scientific projects.

As a result of the negotiations, cooperation agreements were signed, priority areas for joint activities were identified, and further stages of interaction between the institutes were outlined. Special attention was paid to joint research, exchange of scientific developments, and the possibility of implementing joint innovative projects.

On December 4, 2025, Abed N. S. and Bozorboyev Sh. A. took part in the official opening ceremony of the VIII International Scientific and Technical Forum on Chemical Technologies and Oil and Gas Processing.

Abed N. S. delivered a congratulatory speech on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Belarusian State Technological University.

During the forum, the delegation of the State Institution “Fan va Taraqqiyot” held a series of meetings with representatives of scientific centers, universities, and industrial enterprises. Issues related to the development of cooperation in the synthesis of new materials, improvement of polymer processing technologies, implementation of modern catalysts, as well as participation in international research programs were discussed.

Following the negotiations, the parties expressed their interest in expanding partnership relations, preliminarily agreed on areas of joint research and exchange of specialists, and reached agreements on preparing joint scientific cooperation projects and holding joint scientific and practical events in 2026.

On December 4–5, 2025, the delegation visited the Department of Composite Polymer Materials of the Belarusian State Technological University. During the meetings, plans for the joint implementation of projects in this field were defined. In addition, experience was exchanged and new technologies in the production and application of composite materials were discussed.
